Mumbai is a Honda Civic town

One of the observations I can make after spending 4 days in Mumbai, most on roads, and travelling to areas as diverse as Nariman Point, Matunga, Hard Rock Cafe, Powai, Bhandup, Thane, Andheri and Goregaon (essentially all strata of the city, more or less), is this :

a) There are many more Hondas than Toyotas in Mumbai.

b) There are many many more Honda Civics in Mumbai compared to Honda City. This is in total contrast to Delhi where City vs Civic might be 5 : 1 or so.

Any comments by social observers on why it should be so ??
