When I ask friends, the idea is to get a honest-to-goodness critique.

Now, Mr. Nayak is on run being the prime accussed in brutal murder of Swami Lakshmananda Saraswati earlier this year.
In Kandhamal, the district where Swamiji worked, the Christian population went up by 66% in a decade (ever wonder why such Christian population explosions do not happen in New Delhi if there is no evangelisation and no money lure to convert?)
Various investigative agencies have pinpointed the role of Radhakant Nayak in planning the murder of Swamiji.
This well researched article at FACT opened my eyes to immense danger we are coming in from increasing Muslim population. The danger is that of creating a Mughalistan.
The idea is to create a corridor of Muslim dominated contagious areas. Running from Afghanistan / Pakistan till Bangladesh. (source: FACT article above)
Similar plans were promoted in 1947 as well to link up East and West Pakistan.
They seem so much closer to reality now.
Consider the exponential rise in the number of madrassas in the Terai belt, the India / Nepal border, the rise is totally disproportionate to the Muslim population there. What is going on ??
If you feel the idea is far fetched, just look at the graph below. The graph shows INCREASE percentage in the population of Muslims and Non Muslims in number of BORDER districts in West Bengal / Assam and Bihar where Muslim population is significant / in majority.

The idea is to have a wiki database of all the Christian / leftist / anti Hindu players in the NGO circuit. This would include NGO as well as individuals.
Something like this is best done by Crowd Sourcing.
While technically you can preach religion, you can not use government money / grants for that.
Today there is no cross check.
But what if using this database and RTI and public noise, we raise muck and prevent many of these traitor NGOs from getting funding.

I was wondering would it not be a great idea if Mr. Anil Ambani was to fund the Chandrayaan II. Give ISRO 400 crores, no-questions-asked kind of money.
Chandrayaan I was sent at a total cost of Rs. 386 crores. It is an amazing feat of technology and value engineering to be able to do that considering the Japanese built it for ~ 12 times that.

Times of India, has a news article which mentions a whopping 56% increase in NGO money recieved from abroad.
The money amounts are large - we are talking about 12, 000 crores + amounts. That is nearly Rs. 40 croresper working day.
Goes without saying, most of it is for Christian missionaries. Add to it the money given in grants by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment as well as Ministry of Tribal affairs, which is another Rs. 10, 000 crores per annum.
It goes without saying that the almost entire grants are being given to NGOs being run by Christian missionaries.
This is what having Sonia Maino does to our country.
We are talking about ~ Rs. 80 crores of money going to Christian missionaries to convert Hindus on a DAILY BASIS.
And these numbers have HUGELY grown over last 3-4 years since UPA government came to power.
Go, still vote for Congress..

I spoke to a family friend, who is now retired (from a CSIR lab as a senior scientist) and volunteers ~ 8 hours a day with a GauShala (गौ शाला) or Cow Shelter near Jodhpur.
He is vey keen to figure out who is buying this and how to go about it, since they have ~ 5, 000 cows - most of which are at the end of their life.
गौ सेवा is uplifting for the society and country. Hindu kingdoms had "गौ ब्राह्मण प्रतिपालक" as a guiding philosophy. (Standard disclaimer - Brahman signifies Guru / learned man - not an indicator of which family you were born in).

Stratfor.com is a site that comments on Geopolitical issue around world.
They have been speculating of late about possible Indian attack on Pakistan.
The general opinion in right-of-center / nationalist / "non-secular" circles is that this is impossible.
The general idea is that the UPA govt.:
a) Does not have will / desire to implement this.
b) Is incapable of staking Muslim vote bank, that is the back bone of Congress votes - and more so since Muslim voters have started returning back to Congress now (consider relatively poor showing of BSP - they got little Muslim votes).
I have a contrarian view. My view is that in view of voting patterns post Mumbai attack where in Congress governments were voted in Rajasthan and Delhi, just a few days after Mumbai, would promote following thinking in UPA:
a) Many Hindus believe only Congress can provide security and stability to the country (I know many of you are rolling on ground laughing, but believe me fellows, there are people who believe that crap)
b) If they can launch attacks, they can revive Indira Gandhi = Durga ma = liberation of East Pakistan (and slaughter / rape / murder of 600, 000 Hindus - but that is a separate post) theory for Sonia Gandhi (I know even I feel like puking at the mere thought but I am listing a possibility).
c) In 1971, post Bangladesh creation, Mrs. Indira Gandhi had claimed "I do not need Muslim votes". The public mobilisation and voter momentum was such that she could say that. If Indian Army could again execute such a campaign, Congress could ride home single handedly (consider NDA win post Kargil - inspite of hostile media).
If such a military attack has to become a possibility, when would that likely to be.
My guess is ~ March end.
There are reasons. India has to attack before snow melts. That puts an outer limit of April. The other constraint is a certain time required by Indian Army for its logistics movements and like. This would be a min ~ 3 months as per my understanding.
Politically speaking, the war should be near enough to Lok Sabha elections for Congress to derive sufficient mileage. This again makes it March end timing for attack.
Please do not imagine that Indian forces can not initiate attack. The email forwards about India never attacked anyone etc. are for public consumption.
We did it in 1971. Peshwa Baji Rao's quote was "Night is not for sleeping. It is for attacking enemies"... so given political support, we could attack again.

Now, I have an interest in Sanskrit. I am re reading my primary school Sanskrit books and generally working on improving my understanding of the language. Partly it is because I have started liking the language.
Mainly it is because this is what I want to do after I semi retire from work in another 9 months or so.
I have a slight advantage here. Until my grandfather's generation, my family profession was priesthood and vaidyaiki (being a vaidya). I remember as a child, my grandfather teaching me Sanskrit roots.
And every summer vacations, my father would make my brother and I learn a number of hymns. In their world view, they were working on making us Brahmins and on making sure, the heritage does not get lost.
The unintended benefit was that I developed a felicity with Sanskrit roots.
Once you get that, with exception of Tamil maybe, it is not very difficult to get a hang of any Indian language. And I can see how the languages picked up other words - mostly from Persian / Arabic but also other languages - corresponding to periods when Islamic rulers reached those regions.
There have been in recent past (up to 20 years ago) people like Shree Umakant Keshav Apte, who have documented Sanskrit newsletters, compiled libraries of Sanskrit books and like (Baba Saheb Apte had read more than 1500 Sanskrit books) inspite of having the onerous responsibility of being Sangh's first pracharak.
There is a Sanskrit newspaper brought out since 1970 from Mysore (and now they have moved online) called Sudharma. You can donate to keep it alive

I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing at that time when I heard that the NDA government has capitulated and is handing over the terrorists (after Kandhar hijack). And I hate them for that as well.
And I don't know if you know, the AB Vajpayee government increased the Haj subsidy - so did Modi. After harping over 30 years about Minority appeasement, they do it.

I do not intend this to be a sermon, and I can write this today, may be because of certain maturity that comes with age (I am touching 35).
Let us not swing the pendulum the other side now.
What I mean is that had the Indian state truly remained secular, meaning that had the policies / decisions of governance been made truly with no regard to person's religious belief, accompanied by strict administration, at least in the Indian context, lot of problems would have not been there.
There is a real danger of vitriol seeping in our thinking - of we starting to think - this is Islamic terrorism, so my Muslim neighbours are to be avoided. I am asking you to watch against it.
Please remember, for each Afzal Guru, there is a Dr. Kalam. There is Ustad Bismillah Khan.
You can not, I repeat can not, bring vitriol in the thought process without affecting the social fabric.
I am not being a votary of minority appeasement. In fact if you were to talk to educated Muslim youth - people like you and me - they are embarrased at laws suppossedly made for them.
I mean WHO - leave aside remotest villages, is having more than one wife. Or clamouring for it.
And yet government after government can't amend this law. And forces Indian citizens to follow a different set of rules depending upon your religious beliefs.

So let us maintain this distinction in our minds. Times like these demand this balance even more.
